replacing brake pads/rotors
Has anyone personally replace the brake pads front/rear on a 95 civic ex coupe?
I have never done this before and was wondering if it was possible for an amatuer to learn himself, or should i just take it to the dealer?
-What all needs to be replaced other than the pads? (sorry, but i dont even really know what part is the rotor how to "bleed" brake lines)
-how much am i looking to spend?
-should i just get the parts from honda dealer?
any suggestions or links would be great, i did do a search, but it seemed for more 5-lug conversions and integras. Thanks!

2nd easiest thing to do yourself after changing your oil. You don't need to bleed the brakes and probably don't need new rotors either. If you're just going with stock pads you can get them at Autozone.

Yes, the rotor is the disc. I didn't read through the instructions but here is my quick guide:
1. Jack up car
2. Take off wheels
3. Pop hood
4. Remove brake fluid reservoir cap
5. Unbolt bottom caliper bolt (on the motor-side of the caliper), 10mm I think.
6. Pull bottom part of caliper towards front of car and up, it will swing up
7. Take out pads
8. Push caliper piston (big round thing) back in using a c-clamp
9. Put new pads in
10. Close caliper
11. Put caliper bolt back in
12. Put wheels back on
13. Top off fluid
Repeat for rear except the caliper may swing up the other way (not familiar with 4-door EX setup) and step 8 will be: With the edge of a screw driver, spin the piston back in.

You need brake pads. If you don't want better than stock you can get them at AutoZone. You'll also want some brake fluid, I recommend Valvoline Synpower also from AutoZone.
Other than that you just need the tools required to take off a wheel, a c-clamp, and a 10mm wrench/socket/whatever.
