Default B16A1 into 97 civic running, need A/C and P/S help

My friend got a B16a1 swapped into his 97 civic (bad idea).

The swap finally runs, so now we can finish up, but we don't know what to do about the a/c and the p/s.

My friend definately wants to keep both, but the shop wants 500$ to get the a/c bracket from hasport, plus a new p/s pump and lines.

What is the easiest and cheapest way to hook them up them?

Is there something we could look for in the junkyard? What would the p/s pump be off of?

Thanks for any help.

I believe you may be able to use an 99-00 Si AC bracket.

I thought that the a/c pump from his civic ex wouldn't bolt up to the Si a/c bracket?

Is there any stock bracket that would bolt up with modification?

For A/C...Your friend needs to buy a 94-95 Del Sol VTEC p54 A/C Bracket. The part number is 38930-P54-000 from Honda. You can try to look around in junkyards for a 94-95 Del Sol VTEC, but good luck.

As for P/S...I'm not sure, I took mine out. I guess you could try running the p/s pump from that motor.

Ok, thanks for the part# I'll look into that.

So your a/c bolted up with that bracket?

Is the DX a/c pump different from the EX pump?

Yes, my DX A/C Compressor bolted up to that bracket with all 4 bolts, instead of only 2 when you run the Si bracket. As for the compressor being the same, I think it is. Hope someone on HT can clarify if its the same or not.

Also, did your motor come with a a/c bracket? If it did, make sure you keep the idler bracket/pulley. You will need that in order to keep your a/c.

Ok, great. Thanks for your help.

Does anybody have any ideas about the p/s?

Yeah, but if the local junkyards don't have it, we might have to buy it from the dealer.

Did they say if you need new lines also?

99-00 bracket will work
you can find them anywhere, for peanuts, you just have to look
I have found them for as little as $30 each

Are you sure that it will work on a b16?

I thought that it wouldn't work because only two bolts line up?
