Getting a complete zc swapped into my rex next month, then I am going to put a turbo in there too. Which one is the best to go with for the zc ? I have never ran a turbo on any of my cars before so I don't know much about it. Any info you guys can provide will be great.

 

The 1.6L GReddy kit was initially designed for the JDM CRX ZC. If you noticed, the first kits didn't run the BOV piping through the passenger fender. Instead it was run closer to the block to avoid the CRX's battery. I had this kit on my old D16Z6 in '97. Ran 14.0 @ 102mph on street tires.

T3 super 60 for street use, maybe you can make 250 HP

 

Thanks guys, how much is the greddy kit and how much just for a t3 super 60. I can get most of the other stuff needed for pretty cheap(bov,intercooler,turbo manifold,etc.)

 

T3-Super 60 is much larger than a 15g. It wll flow more but have a little more lag.. still, you should get full boost at near 3000rpm at most.

 

The greddy kit is about $1600 I believe with out the intercooler. With the t-3, you would have to do a custom kit. You would need:

Turbo
Intercooler
Manifold
piping
blow off valve
waistgate
some sort of fuel managment unit
And a whole bunch of other small things.

Just do a tone of reasearch, figure out how a turbo works, and what you need. Then decide on whats best for you. Good luck

 

Thanks guys, how much should i pay for a t-3 I know where i can get one but I don't know what a good price is to pay for one.

 

A new T3 Super 60 is around $650.

I'm selling a T3 60 (used of course) for like $250. Although I would suggest replacing the seals on ANY used turbo.

 

my cousin has a zc in his hatch w/ a drag3...dam fast. i forget who did the work for him tho..
