Being a reasonably tall guy at 6'5", and driving a 95 hatch, I was wondering if there are any other seats such as Del Sol or GSR seats that sit any lower than the stock EG seats. I dont have the money for bucket seats, hence the reason for asking this. Do any companies make brackets for OEM seats to lower them? Thanks

 

The del sol seats sit much lower than the EG seats. User DXhatchback on this board is a fairly large dude, and he said that putting del sol seats in his car allowed him to sit much more comfortably in the car.

 

Add CRX SI seats on too. You have to reuse your stock rails and make side plates for it, but itis worth it.

 

im 6'4 and got del sol's in my ej8 love em and plenty of head room

 

prelude seats also sit you much lower, rails need to be completley redone though. Easiest would be Del Sol

 

del sol seat are the cheapest way to go

 

I forgot to ask one more thing, I was planning on getting a set of Del Sol seats down the road anyways just because I love the way the feel, but which rails do you use, can you reuse the stock brackets/sliders or do you have to use the Del Sol ones? TIA

i'm 6'4 and have an EH hatch. i've got 4th gen prelude seats in mine. sit a lot lower and keep you in the seat at all times. 3 of the 4 bracket holes line up. you could get a self tapping screw for the 4th one.

anybody tried swapping in the rsx seats? I'm 6'1" and just barely have enough leg room to be comfortable in my ej8/98ex.

you use the EG rails.

for the record, i'm 6'2 and fit fine in my EG with del sols.
