96 HX converted to EX motor. Need Help PLEASE!
I have a 1996 Honda Civic HX. I installed an EX motor for a little more power. The problem is the HX harness. The HX harness has a 7-wire O2 connector and a 4-wire O2 connector. The EX requires two 4-wire O2's ( i think), I tried converting the HX harness with no luck (it runs, but like crap), so I bought a 97 EX harness, I put it in and I could only locate one 4-wire O2 connector and I know it needs two O2's. Am I wrong in looking for another 4-wire connector for the other O2? Is there a difference in the 96 and 97 ex harness? I don't think there is. Right now I have the HX harness and computer running the EX and it's now getting enough fuel because of the map for the HX ECU, it runs like crap. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
