Default HX O2's vs. EX O2's

I got a new P2P ecu for my car which is a 97 HX(D16y5) with a 97 EX(D16y8) engine. Will the harnesses from the original HX O2's fit a set of EX O2's? The P2P ecu is not reading the HX O2's right causing the car to stutter when being driven. Any ideas??

The HX O2 is not compatible with the Ex ECU and vice-versa.

Not to menton the different maps for VTEC-E vs VTEC. Either

A)get a Y5 engine

or

B)get an EX ECU.

The harness will NOT accomodate a 4wire O2 unless you re-wire it to a 4wire plug. I am actually going to do a write up on that here soon (as soon as I get my *** up to do it)

I have bought an EX ecu and that's where I'm having problems. The O2's from the HX engine are not compatible with the new P2P ecu, how do I replace the HX O2's with EX O2's? Does it require replacing the entire harness or can EX O2's plug right in to the existing harness??

No, you need to ocnvert to 4wire. I am actually about to do this but I bought the wrong conversion harness so if I do the wiring now, my car wont run very well with a 4wire on the Y5 ECU. I think I have the wiring part down, I can IM you what I have found so far.
