Value Package Accords

I have a 1997 Accord VP. I heard that the engines on the Accord VPs are actually de-tuned from the standard 4. Is this true, and if so is there anything I can do to get my power back?

the VPs have the same engine as the DX/LX/SE accords. Nothing is detuned. Don't worry about it.
