Default VTEC in a 91 Prelude

Is there any Vtec heads that fit on a 91 Prelude and what else must be done to make it Vtec. If this isn't possibe does the H22 fit in the 91 and what must be doine to make it fit. I also heard that B20b fit. what swap would be easier and most reliable.

a b series swap would be your best bet. the h series engines sit differently than the b series. The h22 swap has been done in a 3rd gen, But IMO its not worth trouble.

^^ b series would be just as hard or harder because they dont even make mounts or a wiring harness for ya. there was a dude on preludepower.com that supposedly put a b16 head on his b20a.

You can put a VTEC head on, but it takes a lot of time, money, and effort.

An h22a swap would make munch more sense... it's still expensive, but it'd be a little easier and a lil better aftermarket support.

^^ also this guy didnt mention the fact that vtec is favorable to high reving motors and the b20a stroke isnt, ( or so I've heard) you would be disapointed with performance for all the work it would require.
