Weird and very bad idle...
ok what do you guys think of this...
I recently had my car checked out by my local mechanic and he couldnt find the problem for my idle jumping up and down constantly, so he suggested i take it to honda. So later on that night, i went out to eat, i started up my car and it was reving at 2,700rpm and it wouldnt go down, i went to eat and came out, and then this time when i started it, it shot up to 4,300rpm and at that point the car was accelerating and driving itself, so at midnight i dropped it off at honda and left my keys with them
They called me today and told me that first things first, i had to change my IACV cause it was defective, and then they could further inspect... They said 400$ for the peice and labor (Can$$)
does this sound right to you guys??

It is 3 or 4 bolts to take off that sensor and i dont think that the part itself it $400 i think they are around $150 or so. I would say try to fix it yourself. Try that and then they fast idle valve if the IACV doesnt fix it.
