D15b over heating need help

ok im about to change the thermostat ..hoping that will be all if not what else could it be.
my friend has the same motor and uits doing the samething and he change the thermostatt,radiator hoses..nexts he going to change the head gaskett and radiator..

Your radiator hoses could be affected by the excess heat, so replace them as well. I would do that for sure. Costs almost nothing, but can save you a lot of trouble.

there mint be a pocket ..how do i go about bleeding the system..im new to eg.had a ef before .so im still learning on the eg

Let your car warm up until the fan kicks on. The hose from the top of the radiator...follow it to the block and there should be a bleed valve right there. I think it's an 8mm nut. When fluid comes out, close it up.
