Probably not, at least not to my knowledge. I don't get out of DC too much except to go to track days and miscellaneous stuff. A loooong time ago we IMed a little about JDM header and what parts I needed for it. I clicked on the link to your car because there was another thread about seats. Since I am in the market for some, I decided to check it out.

BTW are you going to the Speedtrials event at VIR in December? We are looking for more ITRs.

How much is it, when is it and where is it? Im at Virginia Tech right now and dont have my car..I MIGHT(emphasis on MIGHT) have it here after thanksgiving...i dont think it is Legal for racing..Have harnesses and no roll bar. Id love to come though.

 

It's not really a race, it's a driving school/seat time event. I have no safety equipment so that's not a problem.

It's December 7-8 at Virginia International Raceway which is right on the VA/NC border. If we can get enough people, it's $225 for a whole weekend. If not, 30 bucks more. Well worth it - if you want to see some shots of the track, go into the competition forum and check the "group rates for Speedtrial" thread started by George Knighton. It will tell you everything you need to know.

Yeah, I hate it when people refer to the oem jdm seats as the "jdm srd"...SRIII dudes!

Remember that the bolsters in the SRIII's(JDM) are different than the us spec SRD's.

 

How so?

 

The Guy I bought the SRD's(US) from, upgraded to the SRIII's(JDM). He upgraded cause he's a JDM freak. I sat in the SRIII and the SRD one after another, and the thigh bolsters on the SRD's seems much tighter(I.E. Closer together) than the SRIII's.

Hey Ross, they have an authorized Recaro dealer around the Tyson's Corner area. You can get some contact information from the recaro web site. I inquired about the SRDs also they invited me in to test fit it since they had them in stock.
