Hey, i canot find any tranny tech, and i dont see posts on it. huh, wierd.
Anyways, I got a 92/95 SI tranny, and 3/4 gear is not working. I have a feeling its the shift fork, b/c the guy i got it from abused the crap out of it. (but it has a killer 1/2)
I also have an 91 civic LX with long gears in it, with a cable clutch, and mechanical speedo.

Now here is the technical stuff. Are the internals the same on these trannys?

Are all the gears seprable, or is it a one peice countershaft, where you canot interchange gear ratios (like swappin my 4/5 gear from LX to the SI tranny)

The tranny goes into 3/4 without a problem, just the gears are not there. It still clicks like its going into gear, so i was thinking it may not be the shift fork, but i dont know what a honda tranny is like inside.

Can I interchange the bellhousings between the two, so i can have the cable clutch on the SI?

Can i throw the SI internals in my Lx tranny, and retain the mechanical speedo and cable clutch?

Anyone come across a good website for honda transmissions?
