Quick tranny ?
Is the cable si tranny an s1 transmission? And if it is I get a 90-91 clutch for my 92 integra right? Im trying to figure this out so that I can get clutch i need for this tranny. Sorry if this is a noob question. Just a simple yes or no from someone who is 100% positive would be appreciated. Thanks.
Thats the problem. When I bought the tranny he told me it was a cable si tranny, and had the same gear ratio as the itr. So after researching, it seems as if the tranny does have the same gear ratios as the itr, then it can't be a 92-93 tranny because those were all labeled ys1, and the only gear ratios those came in were the ls and the gsr. Please correct me if I am wrong cuz im not positive on all this. This is just what I have concluded from the research I have done.
I am running a LS case with type-r gears basiclly a B16 tranny and it is really quick compared to stock ls tranny. But for the better accel i got i lost all the final drive and car screams on the interstate. But i guess you have to take the good with the bad.....
