you can wire it up so that you can manually switch it on/off AND let the stock temp sensor work normally. read how i finished the project. i didnt end up using the defroster timer, but its possible with a 90-91 defroster button.

got this from the other post.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Steve91 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">You dont even have to touch a 12V line. The thermo switch on the back of the block completes the ground circuit to the fan relay when the thermo hits a certain temp. You need to "Tee" into the ground wire BEFORE the thermo switch (between the thermo switch and the relay) and run this wire to one pole on your switch. Run the second wire from the switch to a good ground. Done! You flip the switch, you ground the relay, the fan comes on.</TD></TR></TABLE>

now my question is, where is the switch and where is the relay?

The switch is on the back of the block, covered by a black boot with 2 wires running to it. The relay is right behind the pass side headlight, small black box with a couple wires running to it. I ran my remote switch through the stock switch so that I can leave it on if I want or turn it off and it'll still turn on and off like stock. Very nice thing to have on hot days.

well what i did just use the jump wire in the hardness and no relay attached to it and the fans will stay on forever until i take off the jump wire and now is that jump wire is a good idea to leave it on there all times even in winter time or it better with the relay? i use the ac fan and the raditor fan too and the ac fan is connected to the raditor wire like a T connection and boths works and stays on until i take the key out of my inginton
