what starter? HELP!
hehe i intentionally left that out cause i wasn't sure.
I believe they do work. I've heard they do, just have never used one personally. Someone will come along here and enlighten us.
Did you try comparing part numbers from aftermarket companies?

ok figured out its not the starter....when i turn the key i hear the solnoid move......so what can it be? when i bump start it it works fine. all ive done is relocate the batery to the back...?
does bump start mean you put 12 volts to it?
or are you talking about clutch starting it while it's rolling?
I assume you mean the former, and if you can put battery power directly to the starter and then it works, i would think it's gotta be the battery relocation wiring that is causing problems.
I went through this exact same thing 2 years ago, it was the wiring.

jesus fucken christ man that sucks
your starter pulls more volts if it doesn't get enough amps. Your battery is probably not supplying enough amps. In the process, you're destroying your starter wiring and perhaps other wires. Get a good battery in there just like you should have from the fucken beginning.
thieves suck, but you gotta suck it up and deal.
