speedometer only works in reverse....
Just finished up my clutch install and i went through 2 VSS brackets...but anyways
My speedometer and odomotor don't work, i know the odomotor works with the speedometer. The weird part is, if i go in reverse, the speedometer and odomotor both work....the VSS plug is getting the correct voltage, but i didn't think the odometer moved when going in reverse? Do all hondas do that?
Any ideas why my speedometer doesn't work when i go forward and i get a VSS code?
i've heard that maybe my speed gear is damaged and that is connected to the diff....would a new quaife solve that or is the speed gear something totally different?
weird part is...when i first took it out for a test drive, i went around the block and then came back to my house and turned off the car. Speedo and odometer worked fine for .4 miles. Then as soon as i came back out and started up the car to leave...the speedo was dead
If the VSS was bad...would it still show the speedo going up and odometer going up in reverse?
