IAC TPS and other various things. help me!!
92 prelude, F22, 208k 5 speed
OK The car has the bouncing idle and has died twice while driving down the road.
Here is what i have done, I started the car, (idle was steady at the time) i unplugged tthe IAC the idle became very erratic. This means the IAC is good, right?
OK to the TPS
with the IAC plugged back in and the car restarted i unplugged the TPS (idle was doing the normal bouncing) the idle smoothed out. BAD TPS?
Also there is this loud hissing from inside the intake coming from the small hole on the inside of the intake. It will hiss and then the idle will jump up, hiss stops idle will go down. if i stick my finger over this hole the idle will even out.

Fast idle valve?
Im not familiar with the F22, have H22, but the FIV caused idle problems for me, just tighten plunger inside.....
