When I ran carfax on my car last year in January 2003, carfax gave me a totally clean title and no accidents.

Now, in 2004, I just ran carfax again and it says my car was in an accident in 1995.

I am now upset, beacuse carfax gave me a clean title and now when i am ready to sell my car, an accident in 1995 will show up on my car's history.

How do i go about claiming my "CLEAN TITLE HISTORY GUARANTEE"?

I searched the entire carfax site, but I cant find where to claim my guarantee.

 

I did a carfax when I bought my truck.
There is quite a "lag" time for carfax. They are not up to date at all.
I called them a week later and bitched, and they gave me my money back....Because they said the truck was from oregon (last reg. owner) and I bought it from the man who bought it from the oregon person 2 months before.

They really need a BIG DISCLSAIMER on their website saying they are NOT EVER up to date, and should give the last date they KNOW is accurate.
