B20/VTEC swap....VTEC not kicking in.....
Ok, well here's the stats....I have a 95 civic ex. I swapped in a B20 block with a GS-R head and tranny. I'm using the D16z6 wiring harness and ECU (hasn't been chipped yet). So I took the car for it's first ride the other day and when I expected to hit VTEC....nothing. Any reason that it isn't kicking in? I ran the oil line from the block to the head and hooked up the D-series VTEC solenoid tot he GS-R head and plugged it in. Any help would be great...thanks.

That is your problem. You are using a P28 ecu right? Well the P28 is for a SOHC vtec. so the Vtec wont kick in right. Get it chipped for DOHC
