Default Oil leaks on B20/vtec?

i am planning on doing a B20/vtec install on my EK and i was wondering if there are going to be oil leaks where the block and head come together? a couple of my friends w/ the LS/vtec conversion has complained about minor oil leaks. is this true? has anybody ever experienced this problem? if so, what can i do to prevent it. any help is appreciated.

Default Re: Oil leaks on B20/vtec? (jdm ek)

see he is my phlosiphy. you haver a block that has benn run in one car and a head that was run in a totally different car. So some times the block and head are not square together. So what i would do is to get the block decked and the head tru milled. Then you know your surfaces are straight. Also there is allways the usual the lines the 1/8th fitting plug for vtec. Thenn there is no reason to leak.
