I left the Rex for a month while I was out of town. I came back and when I tried to open the hood it is stuck. The release switch seems to be working fine, but still nada.

I have someone coming to buy the car in a few days so this needs to be fixed.

Any ideas?

 

have someone pull the realease, while you gently push down on the hood... you should hear it click and when you let go it will come up like normal...

 

I actually cut a hole in my drivers side fender lining so I could reach up with a set of needle nose and just yank it

Ive got a set of locking hood pins to so dont think anyone can sneek in.

Gonna be a bit hard for you to hide it form this guy though, most people show the car all clean and everything shut and then pop the hood and show the bay....blah blah blah

if the "trick" mentioned before doesnt work..you may have to grab and tug the end of the "hood release cable" from inside the car with a set of pliers..this is how i pop my hood now..sucks but..i've been to lazy to fix it..stretched cables seem to be the norm for crx's
