offset rubbing issues for 15" rims
will a 7.5" rim with a 40 offset be an issue at all? does the offset of the rim affect the appereance at all or just makes the wheel stick in or out farther right? reason is i'm about to my tarmacs but i don't know what offset to go with. i want to get 16's but the spokes don't curve out as much as 15's...thanks
.....what car are you asking about?
I have 15x7.5 +40 wheels on my itr and with 205/50/15's don't have much of an issue. I highly recommend 7.5-9.5 wide wheels after using them.
If you're worried about rubbing at full lock, you should also consider tire size and ride height. My car is dumped, btw

I have a set of 15x7 +38 wheels with 195/60 crappy all season Michelins and i have no issues with rubbing. My ITR is currently on stock suspension.
If it will rub is entirely dependent of what tire size you are running and how low your ITR is. ( I'm assuming you have a ITR as this is the ITR forum)
