Hasport motor mounts - legal for STS?
I keep ripping my hydraulic (driver's side) motor mount on my 2000 Honda Civic Si. Is the Hasport motor mount replacement legal? I can see both sides. But I want to of course follow the rules, but I need something that will last more than a year.

I think you can use inserts but i'm not sure about solid urethane mounts. Something makes me think no but I havent kept up with this stuff very well lately.

because you'd be spending more money for something that doesn't work as well as the motor mount inserts??
Mike, I already sent you PM

Since I don't have my rulebook with me I'm going by memory here....
One of the changes to STS class for 2004 (in addition to the changes to the seat rules) was that ANY motormount may be used. I remember reading this because I have been using inserts locally here for a couple of years and I was hoping they would become legal nationally. When read that any mount may be used I was understandably happy :-)
Can someone check the 2004 rulebook and confirm this?

I was under the impression those were illegal too. The Mugen mounts are identical in appearance to stock, inserts would be obvious.
But if anything becomes legal, then buy Hasport and make my boss happy.

Sorry, I sold mine to pay for the stand alone engine management for my stock class car.
