Default Wont start, no clicking

Hey guys I'm hopin u can help out. My buddy has a 91 LS and last night his car wouldnt start. Interior lights and radio work so I guess that rules out the main relay...

When we turn the key the starter wont even click so I guess its just not getting power. I'm thinking that its the ingition but just thought I'd ask you guys for some 2nd opinions and any other ideas on what we could check...tia

Hot wire the starter to see if that works. I would say there is a better chance of it being the starter soleniod then the ignition switch.

Forgot to mention we took the starter off and I took it to work (advance auto parts) and I bench tested it...It spun like it was new.

Are 91 Integra's known for having bad igniters in the dizzy? Any chance this could be it or would the car still try to crank over if this was the case...

It's not the distributor, I can almost guarantee that.

Hello, I have the same problem

I have a 92 LS stock. I parked for a minute, came back and car wouldn't start, no clicking, good batery, good leads...

I jumped the starter , tested the clutch switch, checked the fuse... Is there anything else to look for before I pull out the whole ignition switch and have to pay the $250?

Thankx!

I have had this problem also. When I took it to the mechanic, before looking at it he said it was the starter solenoid, but when I got it back he said it ended up being the starter bush.

(The bush was worn down and needed replacing)
