I have a 91 LS stock engine with 120,000 miles. Almost every morning the car won't start, turn over or even click.
Sometimes after hearing nothing for about 7-8 seconds it will just start up fine. Most of the time i have to push start it or I'll be late to work.
My dad said it sounded like a relay but I'm not sure

lol exactly what i was going to say have u checked the starter at all.

 

I don't think it's the starter because once it decides to work it fires right up. My other idea is that it might be just the solenoid

 

are all of your grounds tight??

 

my da was doing the same thing.......it wouldnt click or nothing then after a couple of tries it would start.....last week my car jus died on my it would even start after jus a couple of minutes i had to fkn pop the clutch everytime hahhaha
i changed the starter and everything was all good.....runs like a champ again !
