need help installing A/F gauge

Default need help installing A/F gauge

ok i got an autometer sport comp A/F gauge and need to install it on my 91 civic. it says to tap into the wire from the O2 sensor, but after the harness because the wire before the harness that goes into the header is probubly shielded. anyhow can i just splice the wire and soider the a/f wire in?? will this mess up the reading to the computer?? how shud i do it properly?? any help would be great. thanks.

I tapped mine inside the cabin right before it goes into the ECU.

A16, b16 or C16.. one of those.. its the FAT WHITE WIRE.

Im drunk... but its one of those!

The "best" place to tap the wire is AT teh o2 sensor to avoid resistance issues. The closer to the o2 sensor you get, the more "equal" the resistance becomes to both the o2 and ECU. 99% of people have no issues tapping wherever they want, but the "correct" way to do it is at the o2 itself.

it's not a wideband so acuracy isn't going to be an issue, you can hook that up where ever you want

Since the O2 sensors do go bad at times.I find it easier to have the gauge's wire hook-up behind the connection for it.
