Default Need opinion on a cherry bomb resonator

Im going to get a custom exhaust and i need to throw a resonator in there somewhere. Does anyone have experience with the cherry bomb glasspacks? what type of sound do they give. Im also going ot be running a carsound cat and N1 muffler.

The problem with cherry bombs is that the fiberglass will eventually melt, causing your exhaust to sound crappy.

Probably not too long. Here's my story. I bought my DC5 with straightpipe exhaust, no resonators or cat. It was loud as hell. Next day I bought a 23" cherry bomb resonator. It sounded good, and a couple of months down the line I put on a silencer because I got a ticket. Now, every time I take off the silencer it seems like the exhaust is very loud. Maybe I got used to the sound of the exhaust with the silencer. About four months have gone by since I had the car. If I let it rev high and don't shift and let the RPMs go down, it sounds raspy. I would think it's the resonator. The raspiness is raspier with the silencer. However, if I rev high and shift, the tone is deep and nice, but loud.
