quick question where is the plug that goes into the circled area...?
coz i bought the same US ITr cluster and the plug is also not there which makes the MPH light up white instead of amber!!!

Sorry to hi-jack the thread.
What FFSean said is interesting to me. I have owned a JDM R cluster and I currently have a USDM R cluster in the GSR. The gauge faces themselves determine the color output you see. If it is lighting up white, I would question the authenticity of the gauges or cluster OR check the bulbs to see if they are the correct ones. (a colored bulb will affect the color output slightly) The R cluster bulbs should be clear.
Free bump.....

Yes Comp97GSR is right, the bulbs on the True Type R clusters are Clear the Color output is determined by the gauges themselves... Although I have seen someone put amber bulbs into a GSR gauge Cluster and make them light up Amber.
There was also another tread going down somewhere that you could put brighter bulbs in them and make them brighter, 194 VS 168 VS 158 bulbs I believe, just be careful not to put bulbs that melt your cluster... hehe....

BTW, the plug that goes in there is nothing more than a ZIP TIE! it clips in the hole and holds the wire harness to the back of the cluster.
It is nothing more, it's purpose is merely for support, not electrical, and I honestly doubt that would affect your gauges turning white when they should be Amber.
Thanks!
