Default Back in the Honda scene (with a EG coupe)

Well...... i have been out of the honda scene for quite some time until last week. My first Honda was a 90 CRX Si with b16 swap, intake, custom header, exhaust, GSR cams, Skunk 2 valve springs and retainers, VAFC, ITR clutch, H&R springs, tokico blue's, gunmetal HX wheels, MINT interior, etc.

Here is a pic of her before i sold her

Well i sold that to buy my E36 BMW. That has become my new project and i needed a daily driver. So i picked up a 93 Civic EX coupe with b16 swap...... Lets just say she wasnt so pretty when i got her a week ago.

Here is a list of mods she had when i bought her
- B16a2 engine
- GSR tranny
- ACT 12lb flywheel
- ACT clutch
- Intake
- DC 4-2-1 header
- Apexi exhaust
- Fields Vtec & A/F controller
- non chipped p28 ECU
- FPR
- Nuspeed springs
- Fitipaldi (sp?) 15in wheels
- Amber corner lenses
- Yellow valve cover

Here is a few pics (blurry from the sun being so damn bright that day)....

Within the past week i have picked up a few items for the car and just done some basic cleaning up of her.

Parts i picked up were....
- Vis OEM style carbon fiber hood
- Carbon fiber Spoon lip
- Carbon fiber Spoon mirrors
- GSR calipers up front (Drivers side was seized)

Other misc stuff i did throughout the week...
- Painted valve cover bronze
- Bought new bulbs and red paint and did DIY SiR cluster and climate control
- Painted wheels Bronze instead of the scratched up flat black they were
- Reinstalled rear interior
- Installed another OEM front bumper that didnt have the center grill cut out

Here are some night shots...... They arent the best, but i will get some day shots up tomorrow when im done cleaning her up

I also have black GSR cloth seats for the front.... and i plan on painting the moldings, windshield wiper blades, and chrome trim around the windows tomorrow as well.

The only part i can't decide on is if i want to do a 2tone look to the interior of tan and black..... or just convert the entire interior over to black.

Also, i'm not sure if im going to keep the wheels or not. They have really grown on me since i painted them Bronze. These pics really dont do them any justice. I will get some better ones up tomorrow.

I would also like to get rid of the I/H/E and go with a ITR intake and 98+ exhaust manifold. Would also like to pickup a different exhaust, possibly a ES oval muffler or something...

Anyway, thats all for now, I should have some more pics up tomorrow

I'm thinking about keeping the wheels. I would need to repaint them though, i just did a quick spray with the bronze to see how they would look.

Badass dude, I just went thru a similar change....Traded my 90 crx si for a friends 94 civic ex sedan. I miss the nimbleness go-kart feeling of the crx, but I like having all the extra power options and overall a larger car...

Good luck with the eg!

Looks like your car is going in a very good direction, if it had some flat black Spoon replicas I'd look just like one of my favorite EJ's .

Thanks for all the compliments guys. As far as paint colors go, i have never owned any other color besides black. Here is a list of the cars ive owned in order from the beginning.....

-1988 Toyota Camry
-1989 CRX Si (POS, but got me into honda's)
-1990 CRX Si
-1992 BMW 325i M package (Still own, doing a LT1 engine conversion from a 95 corvette )
-1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD (2tone black and silver)
-1993 Civic EX

All of them have been black!

And as far as wheels go, i do like black on black........ But i also like black on bronze and black on gunmetal. The CRX's HX wheels were painted gunmetal, it might be a little hard to see in the pic. And i painted the Civic's wheels bronze.... Also might be a little hard to see in the pic.

Has anyone seen a 2tone tan and black interior before? I was thinking about just doing the cloth part of the door panel's, front/rear seats, carpet, and armrest black while leaving the rest of the interior tan....... But at the same time i really cant stand tan and i want black interior..... i just dont know what to do
