Hi guys I'm almost done with my obdo-obd1 conversion but i need some help,


Instruction 4) properly wire vtec components. (b18C,b16A, and h22A) but i have d16z6 do so i still follow? anyways in case i do follow:

.Run two 18 gauge wires through the firewall to the passenger foot-well area for the VTEC components.

.Connect the first 18 gauge wire to the 1-pin vtec solenoid connector on the engine. Connect the other end of this 18 gauge wire to pin A4 (vtec Sol) on the conversion harness. (Any pics as to where is this 1-pin vtec solenoid connector on the engine is?)

.Connect the second 18 gauge wire to either of the wires on the 2- pin vtec oil pressure switch connector on the engine. Connect the other end of this 18 gauge wire to pin D6 (VTPSW) on the conversion harness. The remaining wire on the 2-pin vtec oil pressure switch connector needs to be grounded. (Any pics as to where is this wire on the 2-pin vtec oil pressure switch is that needs to be grounded?)

also i don't have to worry about the knock sensor wire and the IABwire on the harness right?

 

You are correct. Dont worry about knock or IAB.

Here is what you do with the other wire :

 

Kewl thanks a million, (green switch)so the black is ground and where is the blue one go? also the (yellow plug) what is that? any connections their?

 

Blue goes to the vtec oil pressure pinout on the ECU.
Yellow (dirty white?) is vtec solenoid itself.
