Is ir really neccesary to get some crower turbo grind cams for my turbo h23? Im building the block and all and cant send it to the machine shop til i know if i want cams or not. How many of you out there with a turbo h23 are making big power without aftermarket cams? Will i notice THAT much of a difference with turbo cams? or is it a waste of money? any input is welcome... thanks

 

i dont think anyone is running the crower turbo cams on there h23 here yet.

 

screw cams........ just crank off more boost

 

so the stock cams will be more then adequate? youre using stock cams spoolin? cus i know your h23 set up kicks ***.....

 

turbo cams just have more overlap, stock cams will do you fine.

 

one more question.... how many of you pushing high boost are running on stock valves? if you arent on stock valves where did you find aftermarket ones for the H23?? thanks

 

yup stock cams..... i got this local machine shop to actually make my valves, but stock ones are fine

crowers are gonna be a little cheaper... usually... but they both make an excellent rod.... i run crowers in my all motor h23
