OK, This is a backyard special header, but it looks totally different than the other ones I have seen online. Does this look like it would remotly fit on a USDM ITR? I would like to know before I waste $400 on it....heh

looks like those dents are pretty big....get a comptech for that type of money...just cause its backyard aka (jdm) doesn't make it any better...get a comptech..

 

How much is a comptech?

 

backyard special is very JDM... If it fit on a JDM type r It should easily fit on a USDM type R... However dents are not your friend, but if it looks in good shape,

only one dent and it isn't soooo bad. For a B18C.

If the dents aren't big then I'd totally go for it. Backyard Special makes some cool stuff.

The Comptech Race is a MUCH better header than this Backyard Special header, and worth the $150 difference.

 

Yeah that look pretty similar to the BYS header in HyperRevs mag, that dent doent look too bad, i say go for it at that price!!!

 

yes it would fit. but then you would run into a problem of it being either too short or too long. so that means you need to buy a JDM b-pipe and the stock muffler should work.. basically the welds and flanges are different between JDM and USDM

BTW the Comptech race header hangs down SUPER low so unless you were really careful it will have dents that bad or worse in no time

Not carb legal... but much better gains
