adjusting tein ss
i just got a new set of tein ss for my 94-97 accord, and i dont see any marks showing what setting the springs are on. can anyone enlighten me as to how you can tell if its on the hardest of softest setting. thanks
I have these on my 1998 Accord.....If you turn the **** fully clockwise........that is level 16(the hardest setting)...just count backwards to whatever setting you wish....just don't go below 1 or you could inflict damage on the shock.
Well thats what the instruction manual said. So that's mostly all I know for sure. If I had to guess it would just make the shock too soft for the springs that are matched with it......kinda the same way stock shocks will blow prematurely when you put really low springs on them.....

you dont change the spring setting, assumping you are talking about spring rate.
turning the **** is adjusting the damper rate
