Changing engine oil and found no oil going through the oil filter...
Anybody ran into this problem? Changing engine oil and found no oil going through the oil filter. I then eliminated the oil cooler set up by taking out the sandwich adapter. Put the same oil filter back. Put fresh oil in and drive the car for 30 miles. Took the oil filter back out and still no oil circulate through the oil filter (the inside is dry)??? No engine lights come on one-so-ever, no hesitation and V-tec kicked in like normal??? I don't understand.

Good call
What type of filter/brand is it again?
Get a new filter and try it again.

I had the same thing happen to me with a Fram filter.
My guess was that the bypass valve stuck also.
I still use them and havn't seen it happen again.

It was an OEM filter. I replaced with another OEM filter this morning. I'll check it when I get home today. How do you check for sticking bypass valve? Thanks for all the help suggestions.
