Default 5th gen question.. is Header different from Vtec to Non-Vtec

this question is not for me.. its for this guy buying a DC header for his car.. my buddy has a DC header although his f22b is non-vtec.. and the guy looking for one has Vtec.. are the're differences.. because the guy looking to buy is giving me a hard time.. asking the same questions 15 times.. so i need to find this out to shut him up!.. the the header(s) different from a non-vtec to vtec!????

bump.. comon.. i have no idea about 5th gen's.. 4th gen accords are all i know.. help me out here.. this is so my friend can sell his stuff!

from what ive heard the EX header is about as good as youre going to get... which would be the vtec one. i honestly dont know, but im pretty sure its been covered in a few threads already.

Yes, they are different... the o2 sensor is on the upper part of the manifold on non-vtec models, whereas the o2 sensor position is at the very end near the cat on EX models. They are interchangeable between the b1 and b2 engines, just the o2 sensor wire may have to be extended.

i got a b2 non vtec wit hthe b1 vtec manifold all i had to do was splice a few wires, wrap it in heat shrink and protectant hose and i am good to go...
