car wont start?? alarm maybe??
OK i bought this car bout a yr ago wiht a clifford alarm and yesterday i tried to start the car and it wouldnt start but when i turned the ignition off to pull the key out the alarm chirped once and it seems to do that everytime i try to start it and turn the key back to pull it out ( does it make snese??? ) sorry, but anyways a friend of mine said it might be alarm related and i know it cant be the starter cuz it was changed recently and its not the battery for sure or the alternator cuz i have full charge, oh yea and my valet switch has tto butoons one on top of the each other and i dont know if theres a way to puch them but i tried so many time to play wit the buttons to turn off my alarm but no luck yet so if anyone here has had a similar problem please let me know how to fix it thanks in advance
from what i know, happend to me 2 days ago...went to start car, nothing...not even a slitest click. i lloked at my clifords alarm wire off the batery and checked the fuse..it was blown. try that first!

Don't clifford alarms have a lifetime guarantee, go to an authorized dealer, so they can figure it out. Short of disconnecting the alarm, and pulling it's fuse......I had an alarm once that would chirp when valet mode was one and the car was shut off. This would mean it's your starter. But check with an authorized installer first, maybe they can help you at no cost to yourself.
