Default Standalone Fuel options for 350Z/G35C Turbo?

I been curious lately about how the 350Z guys tune their cars with Turbos. I know Tony1, when they built their customers 350ZTT, they used an Aeromotive Digital FMU in conjunction with a Technosquare modified ecu. Obviously they must have gotten a custom program for it to retard timing, but what I wonder is what are some other solutions for the new Nissan guys G35/350Z? Seems like the Technosquare is just a flash or reburn. Are there any true standalone systems out yet? HKS? Apexi? other?

ya I have seen that and I know its GReddy's solution, but still not "technically" a full standalone.

Good thinking never thought about that. Anything like Zemulator? (Zemulator) is like hondata for 300ZX's.

Too much work. The point of this is to determine if there is a solution out there that doesnt require custom wiring harnesses or other complicated measures of installation.

You could wire up a plug and play harness probably. Motec is almost always a wire in standalone. Anything can be done though, I made my Haltech plug and play in my hatch a few years back.

The only 2 stand alone systems that will work with the 350z/ G35 are Motec and EFI Technology. The reason for this is that they use a drive by wire system and only motec and EFI have the capabilitites to do that. Autronic will not work on a drive by wire system, not yet at least.

The people that run the blowers run an electronic fmu.

Edit: I should have read the post in more detail.

I bet it won't be long before AEM comes along with a plug 'n play EMS for them.

I thought Tony1 used Motec in the 350 he did. I was there when the throttle body came back from getting calibrated @ Motec. Larry
