Default Playing w/ a new toy =)

Not for the R, for me camera (new lens) but I used it to take some new pictures of the R. I know you guys have seen my R plenty of times but I thought I'd get some feedback on these new pics. These were all handheld so some of them are kinda soft, tripod would definitely help a little. Oh yeah, the lens is a Tamron 28-200 mm, supposed to be the smallest and lightest lense in this range. Just from playing w/ it yesterday I'm very impressed.

Thanks for looking

PS - Thanks to my parents for the cool Bday present

PPS - Yack called yesterday and said there is something new waiting for the R so don't think I'm neglecting it

That car is just about as clean as they get. Even after multiple washings, my car still looks like crap

Man, you can tell a huge difference the lens make with your shots. They are much crisper than the one you took for the contest.

Thanks for the comments guys

I'm definitely enjoying this lense so far, seems to produce better quality images than my cheapy package Canon lens. I think I may try to pick up something like a 15 or 18mm lens for wide angle shots then I'll be done for a while.

Hey RTW, I think Ferrell has a Humble Your Prey shirt (at least he used to). I'll try to get a pic of it if I see him this weekend

what exhaust is that? That cat back or axle back?

Nice pics too.

Boo439: I suggest picking up a Meguiers (SP?) car cleaning kit. Also pick up invisible glass too. After washing the car, use the wax and detailer. Every few months wax the car, and after each wash or rain storm, dust storm, etc, break out the quik detailer and wipe her down. It leaves the car nice and shiny. Invisible glass on all the windows, and they get crystal clear. You can use turtle wax dash protectant, or the Meguiers stuff too, but i like the sun protectant in the turtle wax stuff.

Thanks for all of the comments guys, I really appreciate them. I'm gonna try to snap some more pics tomorrow and I'll try to throw up a couple more then.

Victor you better throw up some pics from the 828. I'm interested to see some pics been reading a lot about the 828 since it was introduced. Four colors

Oh yeah, exhaust is one of the newer T1Rs, fitment is good, no rattles
