whats the easiest swap to do on a g2 integra LS..
my boy wants to go vtec..
no ls/vtec though . i can do the swap i just dont have experience on obd0 integras. what goes in easiest like gsr or what? any body got any advice lemme know

 

I would recommend a gs-r or b16. They will both drop right in. It's the wiring that will probably give you the most problems. If you know what you are doing or are good at wiring then its not hard.

You could fit a 350 chevy in there if you really wanted to. He said easiest though. And a Bseries is a bolt in deal without doing a whole crap load of work.

gsr for the power for money. hybrids are more talking power than horsepower for the money.
i dont like the b20 bottom design.b16 sucks mighty *****

build the damn LS or take the slacker way out and swap a gsr

 

what do you plan on doing with the car? i.e. turbo or N/A...? if u go with turbo, a b18c1 or b18a/b would be good engines to boost.. and a c5 if u can afford it, and dont wanna do turbo, would be a good idea too..


you can get alot of prob's and respect for building a N/A car that beats wrx's, turbo'd honda/acura's.. and hang with vette's...

or u can just have dirty *** raw hp and blow alot of **** off the street, if u have the right set up and TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE...

 

what kind of driving do you do?

do you enjoy revving out, or would you prefer to have a bunch of torque down low?

I'd love to have a k24 in my car, just to keep from having to shift into second to pull out of a corner with any gusto.

a 1gen obd0 b16 is the easiest swap into a g2.

 

b16 is the easiest for a g2 and one of the cheapest v-tec's out there.
