You do not need item #22. It's just a nut

You do need #21. It's a "bending" lock tab and you shouldn't reuse the old one. The old one will be trash in the process of removing the ball joint. (trust me)

As for numbers, just order the parts from Majestic Honda (on the web) unless your dealer gives you major killer deals.

And as the other post said, count on replacing the rubber boot. The clamps that hold it on are re-usable. (the boots don't cost that much) There is a left and right side boot. (they are different, at least on the non-power rack)

The snap ring for the boot is re-usable.

I haven't checked prices at this Honda dealer site, but they do list the factory numbers;

ok my dealer wants 60 for the tie rod, doesnt have it in stock, they want 23 for the boot, not in stock...so right there, its 30 bucks more than ordering it online...all i need to know is what number is for driver side and passenger side...

even on SL honda, they dont list it driver and passenger side...they list it pinion side, and i dont know what side that is...look at the two pages and you will see what i mean...

The "pinion" is the drive gear and it's on the drivers side, or left side.

But then to be funny, if it was a JDM car, the pinion side would be on the right side.

i didnt even want to bother with oem parts and their availability for EF's. just went with aftermarket, IMO they are of the same quality or better since it has a much nicer boot on it.
