Do Nitrous Bottles Actually Get Hot? (also heater install help)
Just got my zex kit in the mail, kit was used so I didnt expect perfection and for 200 bucks, whatever
The bottle is scratched to **** and faded.
I also have a Nos brand bottle heater, my question is when the bottle heater is on, does the bottle actually get hot? Because I now want to make a blacket to cover the bottle.
Also can anyone tell me how to install the bottle heater, It has a black and white wire, whats for what

Got a pressure gauge, do you know if the NOS bottle heater also has that safety function? Because Im wiring it up to a wire that always has juice, and if I even one time forget to flick that switch off, BOOOOOOOOOOOM!! right?
the nos bottle heater itself gets very hot... however it just dissipates the heat over the bottle .. the NOS bottle heater comes with 2 metal thermostats which u should have and u stick those under the straps that the bottle heater wraps to the bottle with.. DONT put those thermostats underneath the heater because as soon as the heater heats up , its gonna shut off the heater.. the thermostat just detects when the bottle temp reaches around 80-85 degrees farenheit which equates to around 1100 psi in the bottle. a pressure gauge might come in handy..also before u use the kit, each time, turn the heater on at least 20 min before you use it. And just incase you forget to shut off the heater, its ok, because the point of the thermostat is to automatically shut it off / and turn it back on.. basically maintaning 80 degrees. good luck
