After seeing the NSX with the safety-car light thing in its grille, I was thinking about something similar. I remember seeing old Celicas with Knight-Rider lights in their grilles and thinking about how cool that would be...I'm a serious Knight Rider fan...Are we talking about a lot of money? More than 200 bucks is too much to pay homage to a TV show.

 

It would be illegal (depending on the color(s)) in virtually every state and DC.

As for legality, if it's hidden and switched off I don't think you'll have a problem, but if law enforcement sees a flashing red light on the front of your car, they aren't going to like it.

 

you can all laugh all you want , but with my car being all black i kinda went with the Knight rider theme . i got one of those things and it turned out to be chauncey. i sent it back . it was from jegs or something and was like $30

no i had the actual one , this thing was like 17inches long with big *** Led things on it and a control box and everything . but when i tried to mount it it looks goofy so i sent it back

Thats funny, those were my favorite Tv shows as a kid too. I do have to add Magnum PI to that list though. Oh and the A-Team.

I remember as a kid going to a car show and seeing KITT, the Ghost Busters car, and Bigfoot.
