Default NEED HELP! Should be an easy question

I bought a 94' a year ago, and added cylinders, kit, etc... but its an auto

well, i was driving home and noticed that my speedometer stopped working, then, the green light around the D4 on my dash started blinking. Once or twice the check engine light came on. I had the oil changed 2 weeks ago, and I realized I had the same mileage I did when it got changed. SO OBVIOUSLY the odometer isnt worth either. Any possible suggestions on what is wrong? or what I can do to fix it. My license is suspended so a speedometer is pretty important right now... the *** who I bought the car from wont give me the manual!

If your license is suspended, use your head and don't drive. And people wonder why insurance is so high; it's because of people like you!

Huh?? If I sold you a car I might throw in the $50 service manual, but maybe not so don't get discouraged that he isn't simply giving it to you....

Not sure about a quick fix on this one but

sorry tuition was more important then paying the ticket on time...

if your asking about the cylinders, i meant air cylinders...

are you serious that i should have to pay more money just to get the owners manual? pfff

i bought the repair manual, but nothing is close to the problem

It is your VSS or vehicle speed sensor, but if you are getting a CEL double check to see what code you are getting. (CEL = check engine light ). But it sounds like your VSS.

And you own a 94 car? Sounds like your priorities aren't straight.

And btw, good luck going to school when you're in jail.

she wont go to jail for driving suspended.. I have been pulled over 9 or 10 times while suspended.. She might get hauled in and have to wait for a ride but she isnt going to do anytime.

As far as teh problem at hand. For the love of god take it to a mechanic. it sounds like your tranny could be on teh verge of being shot and and the CEL (check engine light) is also a problem.
