I'm looking at getting a Garrett t3/t4 turbo but I have a couple of questions;

1: I am going to run standard internals in my b18c for now running around 7psi, so i need a turbo that will spool up reasonably quickly (3000 - 4000rpm), but I want to build my engine next year and I would like to use the same turbo. My goal is 350 - 400whp. Which turbo would you recomend? i) 50trim 48a/r ii) 50trim 63a/r iii) 57trim 63a/r iv) 60trim 63a/r

2: I do not live in USA and I have found import-palace.com who are very helpful with very good shipping rates. But is there anywhere else?

Please don't flame. I have searched but did not find the answers I wanted. Any help would be appreciated.

 

a 60 trim t3t04e is an excellent choice for an all around turbo on your GSR.

I would go with the 50 trim. I have a similar goal to you and will be using the Precision SC50.

 

the difference between an E compressor wheel has very little effect on spool

 

im kind of in the same boat. everyone seems to go with a 57 or 60 trim on here for b18's. Anyone know how a 50 trim with .63 ar would be on a stock b18c1?

 

i got a b18c block with a b16a head...garrett t3/t4e 57 trim .63ar turbo...i get full spool at about 4600rpm made 280whp at 12lbs...it a nice set up
