Default Anyone know about ATS DTC Competition rims?

I'm pretty new here so dont shoot me if i'm not posting this in the right forum, but since i will be using these rims for roadracing/autoXing i wanted to get some feedback from other roadracers.

I was going to get the axis maglites but theyre just so ugly. then i came across the ATS DTC competition Lites. theyre said to be 9 lbs and only 100 bucks each. anyone know of the integrity of these rims? anyone use them on the track ? i've never heard of them and im wary of the phrase "you get what you pay for" so im trying to find some feedback on these things before i buy them. last thing i need is another set of rims to crack on me thanks!

I have those. They ain't 9 lbs. About 13 lbs. Nice wheels, haven't any problems autoxing them. Haven't been on track with them yet.

From what I understand, ATS makes a nice wheel at a decent cost, although, I've never owned a set. I was very close to getting the ATS Comp Lite a year or so ago.

13 lbs huh? i knew the 9 lbs were too good to be true. thanks! i'll probably end up getting these. 9 lbs woulda been nice, but 13 lbs isnt bad at all.

Then only problem with these is they are very hard to get. discounttiredirect.com sells them but they are out of stock 95% of the time. They only come in 25 and 35 offsets which needs quite a bit of fender rolling too if you want to use the 35s. I wouldn't even think about a 25 offset.

I've got 15x7 Konig Next and I am very pleased with them. I replaced my 15x6.5 Konig Helim for these. IMO konig makes good stuff for the price, especially a 13-14 lbs 15x7

Edited : i forgot we were in Racing forums...I dont use them Konigs for track.

I use these oldies on z2k for solo2 :
