Default Need a little help, somebody please...

Yesterday my friend calls me up and said he needs a tow. For whatever reason the car overheated. He says the radiator fan is not turning on. So I pull him back to his place, there is a junked EG6 Civic that we pull the radiator fan off of and also the heater motor relay and the 30amp fuse. Just to see if it is any of these things. Turn on the car let it run and still the radiator fan will not come on and the car begins to overheat.

So my question, any ideas as to what can cause this? The car in question is a EG9 Ferio SiR. I am thinking that the thermostat has given up or possibly the temp sensor. We will later on today grab both off of another B16 we have laying around and see if this is the cause.

If you have any ideas, please share.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

the switch on the thermostat housing, is the fan switch. jump those 2 and see if the fan comes on.

OK, thanks. Will have to try that. It is just annoying as all hell. It was like 10pm last night, so we couldn't do much in the dark.
