98 ABS box in 95 chasis!!!
Well i got the 01 abs box from the junkyard a couple weeks ago beacause my type R hid was rubbing the current ballast and i didnt want to mess with moving my ballast elsewhere because I heard it might be a bad idea. But anyway does each individual brake line have its own desinated spot in each box or does it matter? and also at the very end of each line there is a lip on it, do you need the lip for proper sealing, I was thinking it prolly wouldnt matter and go ahead and cut and bend everything
then again I thought i should ask before I did the switch over...

I know when they switched to the smaller ABS pump, the whole system was changed to using the regular brake system's fluid, whereas the older pump used its own fluid (the whole ABS system was isolated on the older cars). There might even be a different number of hard lines going into the pump between the different years, but I'm not sure.
Yes the hard lines definitely have to be flared at the end, or you will be looking at some major leaking problems.

Thanks, I guess I am just going to have a lot of extra hardline in the bay. There are 6 ports on each box, but none of them are labeled. Have you heard of anyone attempting this?
