Default NEVER BUY from eBay seller "djagh" !!!!!!!!

This is a bit off-topic since it doesn't involve Honda/Acura parts, but I wanted to warn everyone here to avoid dealing with an eBay seller by the name of "djagh".

I recently purchased a used Macintosh from him. The auction ended on the 10th and I paid a few minutes after it ended. Well, my machine is just shipping out today (or so the seller claims), a mere 6 days and numerous emails later. Needless to say, I am less than happy with his selling practices, and I can only hope that the computer isn't a total mess when it arrives. I caution you to NEVER buy from the eBay seller "djagh".

Regardless of what his feedback might say, he is very rude and unkind in his emails, provides almost no information once you've sent payment, and is incredibly slow to ship you item out (although I suspect he'd be upset if I took as long to send payment as he's taken to send the computer). As someone who's sold to many people here on H-T (though not on eBay), I know that I'd never treat a buyer or potential buyer in that manner. I try my very best to ship things as soon as payment arrives, or the next day at the latest. I also keep everyone informed of the status of their items. It's unfortunate that people such as this are able to take advantage of patient and nice people, and (I can only assume) falsify eBay feedback to gain buyers.

Again, please NEVER BUY ANYTHING on eBay from "djagh".

It's really unfortunate that people are like this. I know that when people send me money, they're at least a little concerned, and want to know that their item is on it's way, that they won't have to wait long, and that they didn't get ripped-off. Because of this, I always do my best to make them feel comfortable. What bothers me most of all is that I had to email him a number of times (he never even acknowledged that I had won or had paid) and he made it seem as if I was irritating him by wanting my computer to ship out in a reasonable amount of time. I honestly don't think he would even have shipped it today had I not sent him another email stating that I wanted a refund if the computer wasn't shipping out today or tomorrow.

BTW, his real name is Andy Hughes from the Orlando, FL area, and here is an eBay link related to him. Sift through the numerous (and many obviously fake) feedback posts, and you'll find some true ones that indicate that certain poor people have waited months for their items:

Sorry this happened to you, but I believe people reap what they sow. Thanks for being a good seller

You were 100% right about that. Listen to this...

The machine finally arrived, and the packaging didn't look too bad, so I snapped some photos and opened it up. Well, there was a slight crack in the casing, the keyboard was broken and missing a key, and when I turned it on, it made random crackling noises accompanied by the screen flickering at odd times. After comparing it with the photo in the auction, it clearly wasn't even the same machine

Needless to say, I emailed him and received a surprisingly quick response. As if he had been awaiting my email, his reply was something to the effect off, "My partner must have shipped the wrong one. I assume you want a refund?" Of course I said that I did, and he quickly refunded my full payment! He requested that I save the box and hold on to the machine while he files a claim with Airborn Express.

I now assume that he knew all along that the machine he sent me was shoddy, so he insured it, shipped it, and waited for me to complain so that he could make more money off the insurance. What a terrible seller!

The best part? After his unkind replies to my emails, telling me that I was annoying and unreasonable, and that he's a great seller, the message he included with my Paypal refund was: "Sorry for everything. Please be nice with the feedback." This coming from the person who himself threatened to leave me negative feedback because I had wanted a refund when my item hadn't shipped out 6 days after I had sent payment.
