Default Piping Size Help - Thanks

I recently swapped a JDM ITR into my Civic, I have a 2.25 piping setup (JDM Header (2.5) -->Carsound Cat (2.5)--->2.25 Piping to-->2.5 Magnaflow Muffler).

My question is is the 2.25 section gonna hurt my performance?
Is it worth it to redo the piping to all 2.5?
Im planning on buying a VAFC to use w/ my I/H/E and get it tuned, would the 2.25 section affect me?

Thanks ~

going from small to big is good,
there is a lot of resistance when you go from big to small. that will definalyt hurt you performance wise
