Just wanted to know if anybody realized the stock weight of the cast 93 Prelude VTEC rims was 22.5 lbs? Damn smokey!!!!! Yeah, I found it here, along with some other rim weights. http://home.earthlink.net/~cvlocas/wheels.html

 

Yeap, but the 94-96 wheels weigh only about 15.5-16 lbs! Great upgrade.. I "had" two sets of those, sold one..

 

HAHA, you wait to the new wheels come.. Just trying to figure out, K1s? Or go all out with SSR comps .. hum...

Its a little bit of a money issue though too.. 150$ per wheel difference..

 

150$/wheel difference is ALOT! so i feel your pain. however, if you wait and get what you want, in the end, you'll be happier, right? i waited a year to replace my bbs rx's with a set of volk se37k's and it was worth the wait to save all that cashola to get what i wanted. can you wait it out?

 

Well, I just found out that SSR doesn't make the wheels with the 4x114.3 bolt pattern, same with the k1s in 15x8.. =~( so I guess 15x7 K1s will have to do..

I am going for the gunmetal slipstream rotas 12lbs, lil spoon wannabe knock offs
and there is only a 4lbs difference btween the real and fake. But I can buy a lil spoon sticker and rice out my knock offs
